The DA Carol Chambers
situation has all the
markings of a political show trial designed and timed to impact the election:
1. The "trial" is taking place in a
court that is structurally a
Kangaroo Court.
2. The "
Kangaroo Court" is controlled by a very partisan set of Democratic Justices on the Colorado Supreme Court with a history of actively trying to tilt elections to the Democrats.
3. The Defendant is a Republican Office holder. Her husband, who will likely be a defense witness is a Republican Party official. The Identity Theft victim is a Republican office holder.
4. At least in part,
Attorney Regulation, a sub agency of the "Kangaroo Court" whose officials owe their jobs to the Supreme Court, is selectively prosecuting DA Chambers on charges it wouldn't consider in my case, and my case involved
ongoing attorney
misconduct that continues
to this day.
5. Even if the DA were guilty, and she may be, dealing with the issue in this
manner [originally misspelled "matter"] is not in any way in the public interest as
it will chill
prosecutions of
active criminals, making Colorado more vulnerable to criminal activity by criminals involved in civil litigation.
6. The biggest red flag of all, the thing that confirms that this as a show trial, designed more to impact an election more than secure justice, is the timing. I am sure it is pure coincidence that this "trial" is scheduled to begin eight days before the election and end three days later. I am sure it is pure coincidence that the
Denver Post, which is actively
promoting this farce and sees nothing wrong with the timing, plans to skewer Republicans, regardless of the outcome, on the Thursday before the election. I'd bet that they have already started drafting their articles, such is the state of MSM Journalistic ethics today. [Edited: Somewhere I lost a week. Add 7 days]
This isn't the only instance where Democratic Lawyers and Judges have tried to swing elections with the timing of their actions. Anyone remember when Caspar Weinberger got indicted? The Friday before Clinton was elected President.
Until Americans begin to realize that the only way to prevent show trials and show indictments is to rip the ethics machinery away from the legal profession, this will continue.-----------
