To hear the Denver Post
tell it today, Governor Bill Ritter is still
a moderate who was elected with both labor and business support.
Even so, by signing this legislation [House Bill 1072]
he risks losing business support on those portions of Ritter's "Colorado promise" that are key to the state's future.
When Ritter signs this bill, as he most certainly will, the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News will immediately lose credibility with moderate voters and the business community, and they know it. It isn't Ritter's credibility they are concerned with, it is their own.
I can't wait until SB 10 (Nursing) starts moving.
